It’s scary to start a business, no doubt about it. So many unknowns and the buck stops with you.

Early on, I struggled with the typical “identity crisis” of sorts trying to figure out if I needed to “appear larger” to win significant business.

- Ultimately, be honest.
- Embrace smaller as better.
- Consciously build your personal brand.
- Provide great service and value.
- Price carefully.
- Partner if necessary.
