I’ve been asked this question so many times over the years and while I don’t like responding with “it depends,” it really does depend.
Do you want a simple or complex website? Bells and whistles or just the basics? Informational site or eCommerce?
If you were thinking about buying a car, would you ask, “How much does a car cost?” or “Can I afford to buy a car?” Perhaps the better question is, What do I want in a car?” There are certain things that come standard, and then there are the add-ons. Do you need them or do you want them? See the difference?
Websites are no longer one and done (static). They are living and breathing (dynamic) in the sense that they change and evolve. Your story doesn’t change, but your products and services might. You may want to blog about the benefits of your products and services.
Customized for Your Business
I want to develop a site that fits your budget, that meets your current needs, but that has room to grow as your business grows. We determine this together by meeting for a free consultation and discussing the needs of your business.
- Do you just want a web presence to establish credibility?
- Do you need a photo gallery?
- Do you need a shopping cart so you can sell things?
- Who are you trying to reach (target audience)?
- Where are you now? Where do you want to go?
There are lots of options out there, but do you need them all? Probably not. So let’s sit down and talk about your particular business and see which options fit for you right now, and which can wait for later, or don’t ever need to be added.
