Comparison is the Thief of Joy

Comparison can destroy your business, as well as your happiness, if you let it.

When you first started your business, did you spend a lot of time comparing yourself to others? I know I did.

You don’t know what people have gone through to reach their success. You don’t know what stage of success they are in. Don’t compare your journey with theirs.

In small business, “comparison is the robber of results, the pillager of profits, the pickpocket of prosperity.”

Marie Forleo, in her video “How to Stop Comparison From Destroying Your Business and Happiness,” recommends finding what triggers comparing yourself to others and STOP IT!

She also does a quick review of a website and what can be done to make it more clear, customer-focused and high converting. Check out what she says about social media icons.

Take the steps you can toward success and keep the comparison within … compare yourself new self to your old, not to that of some who appears successful to you.
